A BALLOON TETHER is a hot air balloon that is anchored to the ground with special ropes that only allow it to rise to a low altitude of 50 – 75 ft, where it hovers briefly with its passengers and then slowly descends. Because the balloon is secured to the ground, it does not float away with the wind, as it does in normal flight. A balloon tether ride is a great way to introduce the hot air balloon flight experience. Tethered rides begin at approximately 7am and end around 9am (weather permitting)

*Rides are not recommended for people who have had recent surgeries, pregnancies, back/neck injuries. All participants must meet health conditions and sign a waiver. Waivers must be signed by each individual or parent/guardian.

Enjoy a catered brunch at the Cabana Club at Main Stage with mimosas. Then hop on a tethered balloon ride for a unique view of the Festival grounds. This is a perfect morning treat for early risers.
Check in begins at 6:30am, balloon rides between 7 – 9am, *weather permitting*. Waiver is required to ride the balloons, please see the tethered balloon link for more information regarding tether rides. Brunch service begins at 7am and ends at approximately 9am, however, guests are welcome to enjoy the Cabana until 10am. Tickets are limited.
