Volunteers
Volunteers are the backbone of the Festival and without these dedicated individuals; the Festival could not successfully operate.
The Festival has gone Green and volunteers apply right online. Please read the following and than follow the easy steps to apply.
TRAINING: All Volunteers must attend one of the training/information sessions held prior to the Festival date. These sessions provide you with the necessary details and logistics of the Festival. Things change every year and it is vital that you know the new information (new layout of grounds this year). ALL VOLUNTEERS SERVING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MUST HAVE A CURRENT ABC CARD AS OF 2009. You will receive your parking pass when attending one of the training sessions.
TRAINING DATES: May 15, 2010 9:00am ABC Training immediately following meeting, May 17, 2010 6:00pm - 8:00pm and May 19, 2010 6:00pm ABC Training immediately following meeting.
ATTENDANCE: We depend on your commitment. Your presence and prompt arrival for your scheduled shifts are absolutely necessary. If your schedule must change please contact us immediately at 951-676-6713 (This number is good prior to the Festival ONLY).
EVENT DAY ARRIVAL: All Volunteers must check-in at the Festival Volunteer Headquarters tent prior to their shift assignment. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early (remember to also allow time for traffic getting into the park grounds). You must check-in at the beginning of each shift you have scheduled.
VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT: Every volunteer receives the Official Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival Volunteer T-shirt. This is to be worn while you are working at the Festival. Do not make any alterations to your T-shirt while you are volunteering for the event. When your shift is done you must REMOVE your Volunteer T-shirt. No drinking of alcoholic beverages while wearing your Volunteer T-shirt.
